Bulgarian radio reported that the Libyan court has Tuesday confirmed the death penalty of the five Bulgarian nurses and a Palestinian physician accused of intentionally infecting over 400 Libyan children with the HIV virus.More than 50 of the children infected in the Benghazi hospital where the medics worked have since died of AIDS. The international community largely condemned the trial as severely flawed.Defence lawyers said the medics would file an appeal against the new verdict with the Supreme Court within 60 days.
