A Freelance programmer Dave Mitchell (UK)who ordered a laptop from Dell get Refund for not installing Windows XP since he wanted to install Linux.

During Installation he just Choose NO at the Windows licence agreement that asked him to agree to its terms.A text of this agreement states users can get a refund for the “unused products” on their new computer if they get in touch with the machine’s manufacturer.

Note:If you came here searching for the keywords uninstall windows XP please note that in order for you to put Vista, you can just do an Upgrade or if you really want to uninstall XP then just format the partition in which you have XP.
